The regulations under which we home educate require that families with children between the ages of 6 and 18 years of age notify the superintendent of their school district annually of their intent to home educate. Notification WorkshopHOTR hosts an annual workshop to assist families in completing the notification process. WHO: This workshop would be of benefit to any parent who has never
completed the notification process. Any parent intending to home educate is
welcome to attend. WHEN: Monday, August 4. 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. WHERE: Jackson Township Administration Building, 3756 Hoover Road, Grove City COST: $5 Presenter: Mitzi Smith, Chairman of HOTR. The Smiths have been homeschooling for 17 years, they have served as CHEO regional representatives in the past, and Mitzi has served as HOTR chairman for 15 years. RSVP: Please RSVP no later than July 31 to ensure that we have adequate materials available for participants.
Directions to Jackson Township Administration Building, 3756 Hoover Road: From I-71: Take the Stringtown Road exit (#100), turn west towards Grove City. Drive 1 mile to Hoover Road. (Kroger on corner). Turn right onto Hoover Road. Drive 4/10 mile to the Township building. Building will be on your right. From I-270: Take the Grove City exit (#2), turn south towards Grove City. Immediately take the first left (Home Road). Drive 1/2 mile on Home Road to Hoover Road (1st stop light). Turn right on to Hoover. Drive 9/10 mile to Township building. Building will be on your left. The Township Hall is located on Hoover between the Sonora Drive (south of building) & Southwest Blvd (north of building) stoplighted intersections. |
